Emerald Bay Hike During 'El Nada'

Yes, the play on the desired weather term El Nino is really true. We have had no snow- nada, zilch, zippo... you get the idea. So we made the best of it and took a hike.

Hiking down into Emerald Bay is one of our favorite Tahoe activities- no matter the season!

And a picnic lunch on the shore seems to taste that much better.

Lower Eagle Falls was absolutely breathtaking with its powerful flow and worth the precarious hike. Oh yeah, we're happy.
