We had lots rain overnight, thats ok we sleeping anyway and love the sound of an overnight rain. But an overcast day with on and of drizzle continued for most of the day. Kinda high winds so we secured our awning (don't need to loose our new one!). Managed to get a few walkabouts here and there during the day between rain drops.Picked up a few supplies in Forest and home to putter around and have a nice light lunch. Then with the cool drizzly day I got chance to do some research where we might go this winter. Nothing carved in stone, just checking out routes and options. As usual we don't plan much mostly depends on the weather and what we feel like at the time.
By around 3:30 this afternoon the skies cleared for a while so did get outside to read for a bit. Enjoying this very peaceful quiet campground, a couple people stopped by to chat other than that very relaxing.

| comfortable outside , not hot at all |
Then time to fire up our Weber Q to preheat while I made another tomato cucumber and onion salad. We are enjoying that with all the fresh tomatoes we got the other day for the recipe click HERE or my recipe blog top right sidebar.
Yesterday I had prepped a couple boneless skinless chicken breast for supper. Tenderized with my meat mallet and marinaded in this Swiss Chalet Chicken Marinade, below. We ended up going for supper with a few friends last night so cooked them up today.

Added to our salad and some muskmelon a very tasty, healthy supper, sure hit the spot.
After supper a nice walkabout the park for about an hour, say hi to a few people we have not seen for a while, then relax outside an a lovely cool evening (not raining). Read for a bit and work on the blog. Then Bill and Eleanor stopped in to chat for a while too. A nice visit.Just a very relaxing day and so wrapped up with things I forgot t go to the fitness centre, just ran outta time, LOL. Busy doing nothing? Thats the beauty about being retired don't know where the time goes but the days just flying by.
Glad that y'all stopped by again and I hope you enjoyed your day as well.
