Moving on into Texas and ran into another famous Blogger.

Where are we today ?
Walmart Midland Texas
We actually had a good nights sleep last night at this Flying J. in El Paso. Away from the pumps, and all the trucks, the restaurant and store were between us and the truck parking.
Up early as usual had our coffees, and computing done, hit the road at 6:40am, our plan was the Walmart in Midland Texas or further.
296 miles today
perfect travel day, very little traffic,
not much wind and no rain or snow
We pulled into the Flying J in Pecos Texas to fuel and noticed this Class C coach parked towing a Honda on a dolly with BC plates. Hmm I wonder???
Could this be Croft and Norma Randle  (Croft's Mexico). I knew they were in the area heading west, so we check out the store and Denny's. This looks like it could be them, and being the shy person I am walked up to their table and asked. Sure enough.
So we joined them, order breakfast and were able to actually meet each other in person.  Now how cool is that, we have been following each others blogs for some time.
Such a supper friendly couple and once again we have met more fellow Rv Blogger's, or as Norma mentioned "imaginary friends" they now actually are real people!
Ok we chatted and chatted over an hour and a had great breakfast. I know we could have talked a lot more but we are both on the road today slowly making tracks for home in opposite directions.  Us to Ontario and they are heading to British Columbia.
What a great friendly couple
Then we carried on down the road to the Walmart in Midland Texas, arriving at 1:30pm. But we forgot about the time changes from Arizona. Its actually 3:30pm here. So we decide to shut it down for the day. It is now only one hour time difference from Ontario instead of three.
Almost feels like coming home. We even got the same parking spot we had last December when we we stranded here for three nights, with snow, sleet and freezing rain. Only this time it is so much better 88 f. Not freezing our butts off now.
today
remember this, freezing rain snow and sleet Dec. 6th?
Picked up a few groceries, a rotisserie chicken (hot off the rotisserie) and one pound each of potatoe salad and coleslaw all for $9.95 and we will have lotsa leftovers, lunches and maybe even another supper. Love the prices.
very tasty
Another fun travel day, enjoying this great weather and slowly getting back home. Tomorrow we have a few hours to travel then relax for a few days, enjoy some more warm weather.
Thanks for joining us on our journey today, never know what or who we will find around the next bend, or even where we might end up. If you are in the road travel safe too.
