Back into Canada and begin a busy Easter weekend.

Where are we today ?

New Hamburg Ontario Canada

Up early as usual and puttered around for a while so nice, enjoying the last morning here with a wonderful sunrise.

But we have a plan today, on the road at 7:45 am. Fuel up with gas and propane. Stop at a few rest areas to stretch and one at noon to make a sandwich. Such a nice relaxing drive today, no traffic, no wind and sunny, just wish it was warmer, but thats just the way it is.

For the last 8 years (except one) we have taken I-75 through Detroit. This is such an easy drive. No muss, no fuss and no traffic when we pass here about 11 am on a weekday.

We stopped once more at Marysville to top up our Fuel tank (5 miles from the border) and a huge Meijers grocery stop here too in we need.

We got to the border crossing at Port Huron, Michigan about 12:30. No line up, so easy, we were quizzed with the standard questions, told the guard the truth and the agent welcomed us back to Canada. Freezer full of great meats we purchased, no problem. Just answer the questions truthfully and away we go.

Then we begin some of the roundabouts that are becoming popular in this area the last few years.

Now taking the backroads from here we arrived in New Hamburg shortly before 3 pm. Parked in Suzie's Mom and Dad's driveway. She had a nice roast beef in the oven, the smell was wonderful . So after setting up our coach I peeled some potatoes, a mess of fresh asparagus with a hollandaise sauce, lettuce salad with Suzie's mom's homemade dressing, and a tasty gravy.

Suzie was helping her mom and dad sort through a lifetime of stuff in an attempt to do some purging, such a big job.
Ended up that Suzie's Aunt and Uncle showed up for supper as well, sure hit the spot, Even a nice chelsea bun from Anna Mae's mennonite Restaurant in Millbank for desert too!
