A relaxing Monday mostly inside stuff with the rain and cooler weather, but an awesome supper makes up for it.

Monday morning already? Where did the weekend go? Up early again still cold and raining once again. Hmm no walkabout this morning. No matter I got .9 miles in todays, better than none. Got our coffees and computing done and went for a wet drive into Strathroy to the Super store just after 8 am, for our Non alcoholic beer that we like and fuel up the car . Here at the Real Canadian Superstore gas is only $1.11.9 per litres compared to most other places about $1.29.9 a worthwhile savings for 35 litres. Also picked up a deal for 2 cooked lobsters only $8.16. a deal I could not turn down. A good reason I like to go shopping early especially on a Monday morning. Now I know what we are having for supper tonight , perfect for a cold rainy day !

Back home for a light lunch then puttered around for a while got some reading and computing done and a relaxing warm after noon mostly inside. Then even enjoyed an hour or so outside in the afternoon when the sun almost shone for a bit.

Just after 3 pm Emile and Monique wandered over for Happy Hour, so we invited them inside then along came Tall Paul to join us. Hmm a song by Annette Funicello from 1959. Do you remember that song?

Here is the deal I picked up this morning, one I could not turn down. This planned our supper a real treat we have not had for a very long time, Sure can't beat the price around here or many other place for that matter.

Quickly steamed the lobster for 5 minutes to heat through, added to some brown rice and the last of our asparagus, of course shared some wine and gotta have melted butter for lobster.

but we will take it for the price

Still cool and overcast and no visible sunset once again. But we have no complaints at all. Soon the sun will shine and temperatures will soar, we are sure ready for that. To get outside and have even more fun.
